Description

The second pitch of the "

Rubber Ducky

" climbs up the obvious corner system right of the "Great Chimney" and through two (crux) roofs. Wild and bouldery gear protected movement on mostly bullet stone leads to a bolted slab finish. This one is well worth the effort!

Location

Climb the first pitch of "

Rubber Ducky

" (5.10). At the top of the pitch, continue up a short finger crack (5.10) trending left to a bolted anchor below the obvious corner system.

Protection

Gear to #2 Camalot with extra micro to finger-size cams, quickdraws and long slings to clip 3 bolts and extend gear, and a bolted anchor.

It is possible to lower off top anchor with a single 70m rope. Rappel back to the base of

Rubber Ducky

from first bolted anchor with a single 70m rope.
