Description
The first pitch ascends an easy 5.2 chimney system. Trying to minimize rope drag is the crux as the most reasonable path snakes through boulders. At one point I untied from the rope, threaded it through a hole, and tied in again. My partner did the same while following. I might consider just soloing this pitch next time. Veer left at the top to avoid the steep offwidth. Belay in a comfortable area below a small roof.
Barf Bucket Traverse
heads directly right from here.
The second pitch is the business. Climb the wide crack through the roof, and continue to the top.
Location
It is on the East face (far right side) of Reynold Hill and is the second chimney system right of
Moors Crossing
, not the one directly right of
Moors Crossing
with the big bush and old webbing.
Protection
A small rack plus big cams to protect the wide crack.
