Peak Mountain 3

Principia Boulder

Description

[Edit]

Named in honor of Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica, a work in three books by Sir Isaac Newton, first published in 1687. The Principia states Newton's laws of motion, forming the foundation of classical mechanics, Newton's law of universal gravitation, and a derivation of the laws of planetary motion. The Principia is "justly regarded as one of the most important works in the history of science".

Needless to say, this is a striking, sweeping, steep boulder resembling (on a smaller scale) the Olympus Boulder in the Picnic Area. While lacking the feature possibilities for the numerous problems found on Olympus, the steep nature and height certainly give you the same reverence.
