From a sitting position, grab two crimps on a small crimp ledge.  Drop knee, and toss out left to the lip of the roof.  Claw your way past the slopers to gain the top out.  It is short but fun.

" that starts just to the left on poor underclings.  Fire up into a two finger pocket with your left hand.  Slap out right.  Match and pull your way back onto the finishing moves of "

The Captain

."

It is a really fun variation to "

The Captain

."

Climb the middle of the "

Rescue

Wall" via a shallow. overhanging, left-facing corner to vertical face climbing to the top-out.

Start in the same two handed jug as for "

The Captain

."  Next move up and right onto band slopers.  Continue up into a shallow scoop just to the left of a small ledge that is about head height.  This ledge is off for the full value.

Climb the rightmost, overhanging arete and face on the

Rescue

Wall.

This is simply the standing start to "

Skipper

."  You start on crimps under the roof and just shot for the top.  It's cool, but the full "

Skipper

" is where it's at.

Start (SDS) on a nice jug.  Pull up and move left to another good hold.  Reset your feet and reach up with your right to really cool pinch.  Then push up to a thin diagonal gash/crimp with your left.  Finish on good holds above.  Walk off to the right and then down climb a short gully back to your pads.

This line may not be for every one, but I just love the moves.  And the pinch in the middle of this slightly over hanging wall is cool.  It's short but sweet.

On the northwest side of Gilligan's Island,

Mrs. Howell

and Thurston Howell are located kitty-corner to Skipper Boulder on the south side of the Homestead Trail. These two problems can be found as there is a small hole/cave/arch behind them.

Do a SDS off a recognizable pinch. Well-chalked, Thurston Howell climbs the arete of the boulder to a small pine tree.

Climb the south face of "The 20ft Wall."  Using crimps and the left arete make your way to the top.

Climb the blunt arete on the western most side of the south end of Gilligan's Island.

Start with you left hand in a good jug and you right on a small sloping crimp that has a crystal for your little finger. Toss up with your right to a bad sloper then get a heel hook up and right. Now you began the desperate journey to the top slapping and crimping small pebbles to higher but easier ground.

This is a great line!! It is a must do in the area!!

Climb the arete/pillar left of "

Your Orders

."  Start low with sloping sidepulls and pinches.  Slap your way to a fin-like top out.

Starting on the low horns right of

Marry Ann

, move over and right. Use a good amount of heel hooks before setting up on a good jug. Bump across a couple of crimps before setting a high heel hook. Fire up for the rail and climb up onto the slabs after moving about 10 feet to the right from the start. It's hard to keep your back from hitting the rock that sits right at the base of the climb.

Start low and left of

Low Tide

on holds on the far left of the boulder, make some moves to the start of

Tropical Sea

, and finish through the crux of

Tropical Sea

. This add some more fun moves into

Tropical Sea

and felt like a more natural start to me.

Start down low (SDS) on two good flat crimps.  Use the a bad right handed sloper/crimp to gain a jug and then the top.  It's a one move wonder.  But worth a try if your in the area.

Start with both hands in a big in cut jug.  Move up and left for a small crimp.  Gain a toe or heel hook in the starting hold and push high above your head to another crimp.  Work up into a shallow corner/scoop via sloping crimps.  Once you are over the overhang exit right and walk off.

Classic!!!  A must do on the south side of the Island!!

Climb the arete to the right of "

Smoke Signals

."

Start on the crimping rail on the north end of this wall.  Traverse (staying low) from left to right finishing above "Six-Hour-Tour."

This is a great warm-up for "Six-Hour-Tour."

Climb up the arching arete of this cave-like feature found on the eastern most side of south Gilligan Island.

A great line!!  It is oOne of the most noticeable blocks when you first arrive on the south end of Gilligan's Island.

Climb up and over the center of the west facing wave-like face.  It has a scary top-out!!  But it is so fun.

If anyone has any information about the name or FA for this route, please feel free to update it or message me and I will do it.

Start on the same low and left crimp rail as for Beach Hut. Cross over to the right crimp rail then make a good move to a pinchy jug up and right. Left hand gaston to a good crimp and then make a balancy move to a good crimp. Finish up on a good slopey jug before topping out.

Start just below a crack system that breaks threw a 3-4 ft. roof at about 12 feet up.  Climb stright up the wall via face and some crack to the roof.  Keep your head together and move over the roof and finish to easyer climbing above.  Walk off.

The line is found just to the left of the mini drop off that signifies the start of "

Fearless Man

."

It's a nice (H.B.), but it does not get climbed a lot, so if you go for it be prepared to treat it like a little free solo!!

Start on opposing sidepulls, stand up into the undercling seam, get a left hand crimper and a right hand pebble, high left foot and stand up into the jug.

Start in the big hole, the same as for "

Tropical Sea

."

Once you pass the hole, move right and face the insecure finish on really bad holds!!

This one is all about foot work.  This is a fun line that is worth a visit.

Start with a SDS low under the left (south end) of the east side out-crop.  Move through very hard long reaches on finger breaking crimps to am more rounded and forgiving top-out.

This is a great problem!!  Do Try!

Stor Ofta is an easy climb with a great view.

Start with a low foot hold and trust the smear. Be creative with the finger holds. Walk off from the top.

Climb the west end buldge from a SDS.  This climb is on the same boulder as "

Coconut

" and the"

Start on a gritty incut and make a big move onto a rail.  Traverse out right towards '

Marry Ann

' and top out via a jug system.

Start with your both hands in a crack system down low.  Climb out and left through a long pointy nose like feature.  Pinch and slap over this odd feature to the top-out.

Climb the crack system to the left of "

Fearless Man

."  Be careful when topping out not to fall into the looming drop off just under your feet!!!!

, Mrs. Howell does a SDS off a extremely well-chalked, large rail. Climb up and left finishing with a horizontal hand crack to the top of the boulder. Downclimb the backside.

An extra pad may be advised due to the sloping rock behind the problem.

Block."  The line is just right of the corner problem "

."  Nice slab but it seems to always be dirty.  Still, it's worth the climb.

Begin in the underclings for

Your Orders

.  Move left to the pocket, continue trending left through underclings, and then over the prow.  Powerful and somewhat of an eliminate as the massive pillar to the left of the bulge is off for feet.

"Poop Deck" is a short toprope (or potentially highball) route on Gilligan's Island, which follows an overhanging arete.

Beta:

A few easy moves quickly lead to a reachy, tricky, roof problem just a couple meters off the ground. Mind your rope carefully through this section. After pulling through the roof, a lieback leads to technical smears and crimpers up the bulging prow. The difficulty eases considerably upon reaching the top of the bulge.

The grade is approximate, and a consensus rating has yet to be established. Feel free to offer your input.

Move right along the wall until you are below final reach, then climb up with a right or left hold. This is a simple warm-up/beginner route on Castaway Wall.

Dyno alternative - from matched on the start hold, dyno or static (if wingspan will allow) to the top, and mantel over.

Start with a (SDS) under a bulging wall right next to a mini cliff drop off.  Take caution on the opening moves!!

Move out from a crack system while trending right to a steep bulging face with a few small key crimps.  While working to gain solid balanced via technical foot placements, continue crimping and slapping to the top of the block.  Then walk off.

Just for the record I love this problem!!  I think if you are in the area you should give it a go!!!

"Keelhauling" is a short toprope (or potentially highball) route on Gilligan's Island, which ascends the center of a featured face just right of "

Fearless Man

."

Start just to the right of a deep crack and ascend clean rock to a large bulge. Work right around the bulge and follow a short flake/crack to the top.

Start as far back on the sloping rail as you can.  Next you slap and heel hook your way around and under a large roof.  Make a few decisive moves to gain the outer lip and set up for the big finish move.  If your feet come loose, you may hit your spotter in the head, so watch out for that!!!

It is a great problem!!  This is also an area classic!!

Start from a big hole in the wall. Move up and left to a some what scary topout. This is a good low angle warm-up.

Start with a (SDS) on the left most edge of the wall.  Work your way up while staying left to good but spooky hand and foot holds.  Mantel to the top for the finish.

It's an odd feeling line to me.  I don't really bother with it all that much.

This line starts inside an "A"-framed, mini cave.  You start with your whole body inside the cave facing a westerly position on decent crimps.  Next you pull up and left to get onto the corner.  You then climb up and out of the cave to the finish and then you walk off.

This problem begins as a SDS on the nose of an obvious prow.  Start with your right down low on a sharp but good crimp and you left on a small sidepull.  Pull for the better hold and jug above.

A standing start goes at about (V0).

This is a fun, albeit short, inverted, offwidth problem. Get in it, work your feet as high as you can, and chicken wing your way through the pivot.

Start sitting down slightly under the east side of the boulder with the "

Ship's Prow

" on its southern tip. Pinch/sidepull with your left and crimps for the right.  Work your way up the over hanging arete/corner to the top out.  Watch your feet....  There is a low-angled slab that follows your back side all the way up this one.

Start on the southern most face (left of the "

Ship's Prow

").  Reach up with both hands to a sloping, horizontal seam, smear your feet on the wall an toss to better hold gaining the top.

SDS on an obvious flake, and continue up blunt arete using right hand sidepulls and left hand crimps. Heel hooks, balance, and a little compression lead to slopey but easy topout.

This is a great problem for beginners to work on technique. It makes for a comfortable, fun warm-up.

I am not sure if this has been climbed before, but I assume it has.

The starting flake is loose and will most likely break eventually.
