Trim Your Bush

Obvious hand-sized crack with a large bush growing about 10 ft. up. Passing the bush may have actually been harder than 5.7, but was definitely the crux. The crack starts out straight in, then turns into a shallow right facing corner. As you're topping out into the chimney there is loose and rotten rock. The main crack is bomber, but the outer layers can be a bit sketchy. Once in the chimney, a few stem moves and you're on the top.

The bush looked like it has been trimmed maybe 15 or more years ago, but I have no information on FA or possible names of the route.

This route is easy to find on the west face of central battleship. Look for the crack with the obvious bush. It's about 150 ft to the right of Honeyshine.

We used nothing bigger than a #3.5 camalot, but did use a few hand-sized pieces and a few smaller pieces. I few nuts could come in handy.

Edit: Two stainless steel glue-ins were added for anchors at the top of this route.
