Description
Follow the “fall line” directly below the anchors. Official start is in the slot guarded by the two sotol plants. Please treat them respectfully. Alternative start (easier): Up the slabby section to the left then back to the right after a few moves. Stay as close to the direct line as possible. Crux is the slight bulge about half-way to the anchors. Easier ground leads to the anchors. Lots of variety in both the quality and type of handholds. Lots of thin flakes that probably won’t take a lot of abuse.Lower off or, top-out and walk off to climber’s R.
Location
Climb is on the lower wall. Possible to access the top from either the R or L side, but R side is easiest. I set up a (double) fixed line (my typical TR solo setup) using a cordelette ‘binered to the anchor bolts. Anchor isn’t visible from the ground but is easily accessed from the top. Look behind, left of, and below the large dead snag on a shelf of sorts...Start in the slot guarded by the two sotol plants. Please treat them respectfully. Protection
Will take some gear.
