Description
This is the left-facing dihedral with a crack to the right of “
Crack
”. This crack is smaller than the obvious one to the left. It is pretty easy until about two thirds of the way up near the top. There was an old piton just below the crux area, but I pulled it out by hand. It would not have been trustworthy anyway and small cams work here. The crux is short and is just before you top out. It has poor feet, but the crack is good for the hands.
Location
Start at the same place as “
Crack
,” but move to the right towards the dihedral as you ascend. There are some small bushes to move through just before you get to the actual crack.
Protection
A standard rack up to a #2 Camalot. At the top, you can anchor to the rappel tree or at the same place as “
Crack
” with gear. There are two ancient quarter inch bolts in line with the climb.
