Starin' Down the Barrel

Fun route that runs up a flared chimney/dihedral with a discontinuous crack in the middle and brings you all the way up to the flat top of the redneck rocks formation. Like most routes in the MM's the unpredictable rock exfoliation adds to the difficulty.

Look for the bolted line that follows a right leaning flared chimney roughly in the middle of the east face of the largest continuous section of the redneck rocks closest to the road. A short bolted line ascends the face directly to the right of starin' down the barrel

12 bolts with a 2-bolt anchor at the top. A 70m rope is just long enough to be lowered off comfortably. If you only have a 60m rope you could probably do two raps using the anchor at the top of the short sport route to climber's right but the anchor looks very sketchy (rusty homemade hangers)
