Description

The easiest route at Griffith is fortunately also one of the best! An engaging slab climb that's consistent at the grade, King Of Cowards wanders up separate formation from the main wall. There's no such thing as off route on this climb, you'll weave left and right of the bolt line to gain the anchors. The crux come directly of the ground but that shouldn't deter new leaders.Note: Anchor placement has the potential for a big swing off the arete when lowering. When clipping the chains, clip left to right to avoid the swing. Or, have some fun and take the swing.

Location

50 yards southwest down river from the main wall, locate a zig-zagging crack on a large formation. On the right side of the formation around the arete you'll find King Of Cowards.

Protection

Five bolts to mussy hooks.
