Afterglow

Description

Start on nice pockets that require a slight amount of sequential trickery to use in the least-strenuous manner. A "sporty runout" (Ruckmans' words) awaits between the second and third bolts (not the hardest bit of the route).

A technical section through a steep-ish bit with poor feet and less-than-fully-comforting handholds lurks above. Conquer this and then make a delicate move or two to the chains.

Location

Near the left (uphill) end of the wall is a large juniper tree and a small, constructed landing. This line is the second line downhill from the landing. There are several pockets leading to and past the first two bolts.

Protection

5 bolts, chain anchors. Anchor is shared with

Sundance

to the left.
