Finger Fury

FA Winston Hough (1985)
CREATED
UPDATED

Description

Finger crack splitting a face, turns into a short hand crack, and then a short squeeze chimney up top. If it weren't for the wide section to finish, this would be a 4 star route.

Descent:

Two options. 1) Climb to the top, and descend the fixed hand lines to the north, walking off left. 2) Bail left on the obvious ledge before the squeeze chimney to some contrived chain anchors.

Location

About 30' left of the large leaning flake.

Protection

Mostly small gear, with a few hand sized pieces. No large cams needed. Sling a large tree for an anchor up and left of the top, or bail left to some contrived chain anchors before the squeeze chimney.
