Crazy Brown Pony

A medley of Miss Brown, Pony Express, and the last pitch of Crazy Horse, one of the best outings on the crag. Great exposure, excellent rock throughout, and a wide variety of climbing types. Climb Miss Brown to a bolted belay on the slab to the right after the final steep head wall moves. Traverse the slab to the right, 5.9, underneath “95 Degrees in the Shade”, after about  60 ft, make a few moves down around a corner to the belay for Pony Express. A straight in 5.11 crack diagonals up and right on vertical rock above the big Crazy Horse roof to a smaller roof, After surmounting the roof at the crack’s end, 5.11, you will join the last half of Crazy Horse’s second pitch. A 70 meter rope dangles in the air from the exposed belay at the end of pitch 3. Pitch 4 is straight up, easy 5.11 off the belay, then beautifully featured rock over a small roof and easy, exposed climbing up a sharp arete to the top.
