MapPinch Problem
Description
This is one of the best face problems at this grade in the area, IMO. Start with good and obvious holds at head height. Move up to a pinch and climb straight up the face. Once on top, finish by tunneling left through a short 'cave traverse' or enjoy a last 10' of easy offwidth.
Location
When taking the short trail to the Corridor, break slightly left around and downhill from the first boulder with
Arete V4
, and follow along till you can round the corner of the last tall boulder on the right, just past a short offwidth crack with a 'Y' split. The problem goes up the west face. There is an easy offwidth/chimney by the left side of the problem that you exit through after topping out.
Protection
A pad and spotter or two. The landing is good but slightly angled.
