Description

Begins with some techy face climbing through 2 bolts, leading into a pumpy lie back section, and finishing on a section of finger and hand crack with insecure jams. A fun variety of climbing packed into 40 feet.

Location

This route is located at the very north end of the Mezzanines where it rounds the corner into Jumpoff Canyon. Park at the Jumpoff Canyon trailhead and take the Jumpoff South trail to where it meets the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Follow the BST north to where it approaches the large, brown gneiss buttress. Leave the trail here aiming for the juniper trees above the buttress, then follow a thin line of quartzite talus to where it meets the cliffs above. Traverse north around the bottom of the cliffs and continue to the apex of the white, gneiss talus. The crag is the obvious overhanging gneiss wall to the right (see photo).

Protection

2 bolts then a few finger to hand size pieces.
