Description
A climb that captures the imagination... of those who are keeping to nearly-land-based endeavours, as a result of COVID-19, but are seriously going to lose it if they don't fully weight a cam at least every few months.
There are six horizontal, parallel crack systems on the Yawn Wall. This route stays below the capstone, and obviously off the lower sidewalk. If you end up in arm's reach of a netted-fence, you've gone way too far up.
Location
This route follows the full 100m length of the Yawn Wall, from climbers left-to-right. It begins on a handrail ledge that follows up a staircase, and ends on a wedge-shaped piece of concrete, next to a tree.
Protection
Cams 0.75 & smaller, and tricams. Nuts possible, but not recommended. Gear anchors on P1&2, tree available at the finish of P3.
