The Green Corner

This is the line right of Meat Puppets listed as Open Project #34 in the Granite Guide. This was bolted in the late 80s by Lance Bateman though may have seen earlier attempts up the crack portion of the corner.

Really nice stemming up a micro seam brings you to a small roof. Above here the corner is very obtuse and the holds are sparse. Things stay fairly moderate up to a distinct boulder problem crux heading slightly left out of the corner to a small stance. There is then a second bouldery crux kicking back to the corner and stemming in slightly higher. Things ease up again following a lovely crystal strewn slab to an anchor at the lip.

The obvious green corner 120ft off the ground, directly across the gully from After the Fall. This is a second pitch, best approached by climbing Green Adjective as a 40m pitch with some rambling to a set of anchors just below this corner.

Quickdraws for the corner pitch, gear for the approach pitch, a 70m rope for the rappel back down (watch your ends and aim up gully)
