Description
An excellent and forgiving finger crack located just beyond The Wall's beaten path. This crack and the other 3 (actually seams) around it catch your eye from literally miles away, but if you hike up here expecting another Wiggins, you might be left wanting. That said, it's another good 5.10 on a wall with a lot of good 5.10s, and if you've already hiked over to the right side of the Wall, it's worth going a little further. Sunshine and solitude guaranteed.
Crisp, splitter fingers. Should be a good size for most. It's sustained, but lots of good feet take some of the bite out of it. Have fun!
Location
It's located so far right that it may not even be on "The Wall" anymore, but not as far as some of the others posted here. It's on the sunny side of the right-side prow, the leftmost splitter on the clean, varnished face as viewed from 211.
Follow the trail to just below Freebird, where you hit a barrier of choss. You can go over this via a couple loose 4th class options, or hike low and around. Continue traversing for another ~100 feet, past a small pillar, then hike up, left, and slightly back when you can see the varnished face with four right-angling seams/splitters. Outside the Wall is the leftmost of these.
