The Overlook

Not sure of the history or name of this one but thought I’d give it a name so it wasn’t just another “unknown tower”.  Let me know the real name and I’ll change it.

The route starts on the west side, scramble up ledges to a bulge with soft rock.  Mantle over the bulge to a dihedral which leads to a ledge on the north ridge. Pick your way around unstable rock following the ridge to the to summit. Anchor is two bolts.

Start up the Hidden Valley trail. Just before the first meadow cut left on a trail that heads up the talus cone through the cliff bands and to the rim above. Once on top cut left(south) along the rim  to the tower. At one point you have to go a bit west to avoid getting cliffed out.
