HD's Chimney

Identify a right trending black crack that leads to a right facing chimney at approximately 100'. The start of the route is protected by a bolt. Clip the bolt, and follow the crack, passing a short, thin section (FA party used one point of A0 here) to a sloping ledge. Optional belay here on solid cams. From the ledge, climb a hand crack to a roof, traverse to the right, and swim up into the chimney, or climb the unprotected slab to the right. Top out the formation, and walk off to the east.

Located in the middle of the western formation.
