Description
Scramble up the start next to
Serpentine Crack
, but stay in the corner to the right. Pass a few small tree as you zipper this little trad route up the crack.
The crux is the second tiny ledge just under the small tree.
Beta: hand jam with left-leaning laybacks worked for me the whole way until I could mantel the ledges. My feet stayed smeared on the classic Castlewood mini-cobblestone, and I barely need to find foot holds.
I used a BD cams #3 , #0.75, #1, a #4 hex, and carried a rack up to a #3.
I can’t be the first to have climbed this? If you know, I’ll take it down. Otherwise, enjoy Choss Me The Moss!
Location
The easiest way to get there is to use the GPS location, but honestly park in the lot, and head Northeast to the canyons. Then head north until you find a pillar with a lone bolt... there are some shady bolts and a bunch of places to scramble down.
Protection
There are no anchors. We had to improvise a little, but there are plenty of teas anchor options to set up a TR.
