Barefoot Crow Left

Description

When I did this route, I think I started too far left. I followed some easy but unprotected terrain up and to the right until I encountered the bolts that mark this route. However, I think the correct start is at a right-facing corner that goes up and leftwards; there is a cool looking flake sticking out of this corner. Follow the corner up and left, continuing up and left after the corner ends. Eventually you will start moving back right when you see a bolt. Follow 2 bolts past some delicate, insecure climbing; classic granite trickery.

Going straight up instead of left then back right is "Barefoot Crow Right", also 5.10a. Blank looking slab with 4 bolts. It shares an anchor with Barefoot Crow Left so you can TR it after leading the left climb.

2 bolt anchor at the top.

Location

Start at a small right-facing corner that diagonals up and left and has a cool flake sticking out of it. To your left you will see a large block on the ground that forms a right-facing corner. Don't start on top of that block, as I did accidentally.

Protection

I only placed a few small cams besides the bolts, however I started at the wrong spot. Trad gear plus 2 bolts. 2 bolt anchor at the top.
