MapDescription
A fun, mellow route with plenty of good pro available.
The Cleaver
follows a wide crack to the top of
Meat Wall
.
The first bit is the more difficult but good hand jams and numerous jugs abound. After the first twenty-five feet or so the climbing gets considerably easier, but is pleasantly airy. Save gear for an anchor at the top. Top out and walk off southwest to the talus field to the west.
Location
On the right side of
Meat Wall
is an obvious wide crack that extends up the full height of the wall. The crack is located just before the east-facing bit of wall that bounds the main part of
Meat Wall
.
Protection
Medium to large nuts and small to large cams. I used a #4 BD C4 and a #4 Friend and there are spots where both a #5 and a #6 BD C4 would fit if you wanted.
